“Dude” - upcycled folk art fish
You know the feeling you get when you wake up that first morning you’re on vacation? Maybe you arrived at the beach house last night, ate some fried shrimp, walked on the beach in the dark, had a couple beers on the porch in the rocking chairs. Maybe you went to bed late. But then, as you open your eyes the next morning... you remember... you’re. on. vacation. Ahhhhhhhhh! For me it is one of the best feelings in the world. The stress of organizing, packing, travel is done and all you have to do is roll out of bed and enjoy the heck out of your day. Cheers to the first morning of vacations everywhere this summer.
Sleepyhead “Dude” looks like his vacation is off to a magnificent start. Created by the imaginative Mary Neligan, who scours the scrapyards of eastern North Carolina to find the discarded treasures she puts into her pieces. The ultimate trash to treasure. Each one of Mary’s Funky Fish is a one of a kind and Dude is no exception.
