"Meet the Artist" Opening Reception - Chris Higgins - FISHBONE DESIGNS artful jewelry

March features handcrafted jewelry by local artist, Chris Higgins of Fishbone Designs.  Founder of Fishbone Designs, Chris Higgins designs and creates all the pieces in this collection.  Each one-of-a-kind item is fabricated using sterling silver, brass, copper, and gold.   Unique stones and gemstones from around the world are highlighted by the textures of the metals.  Fishbone Designs reflects Chris’ mixed Japanese and Cherokee heritage with a balance of colors and shapes to create simple yet striking jewelry.  Currently on display with a "meet the artist" opening reception on March 26 from 6-8.  Also on display at River to Sea Gallery are 30 other local artists, including jewelry, sculptures, paintings, and more.
